About the Fellowship

The John von Neumann Computational Pioneers Fellowship is part of the Neumann Nexus Global Fellowship Awards Program, which recognizes individuals who exhibit outstanding potential in pushing the boundaries of human-centric technologies.

 

Neumann Fellows are chosen based on their intellectual rigor and innovative thinking, which foster significant advancements in the fields of computation, engineering, and behavioral sciences.

 

During their tenure as a Fellow, they engage in independent research and academic pursuits that enhance inquiry, challenge established norms, and broaden the horizons of knowledge in computational, engineering, and human-centric sciences.

Developing frameworks to understand, model, and engineer intricate systems with numerous interacting components and emergent behaviors.​

Creating mathematical and computational models that describe, explain, and predict complex phenomena across human-centric domains.​

Fellowship Application Process

Eligibilty

Candidates must demonstrate exceptional research potential in computational sciences, AI, or related fields.

Review

Applications are evaluated by a diverse committee of experts in relevant fields.

Award

Selected fellows receive funding, mentorship, and access to the Neumann Nexus network.
